February in Ms. Power's Class

Our theme for the month of February was Emergency Services so we have been learning about people who help us. We focused on Firefighters, the Guards and we are currently learning about the Mountain Rescue in Aistear. We were very lucky to get a visit from Garda Mick where he showed us all the equipment that the gardaì use and we also got to have a look at the Garda Jeep. During the month we also had Ms. Kelly s class in with us and we had a visit from one of the Glendalough Rangers. We had a great month.
