Busy Bees

Busy Bees is an after-school club which can be availed of by children in Junior and Senior Infants. It is run under the auspices of the Board of Management. Initially, this club was established to cater for the needs of the children who travel home from school by bus. In recent years, the club has grown to accommodate children who are collected by parents/guardians.

Busy Bees runs from 2pm to 3pm, Monday to Friday and is supervised by fully garda vetted supervisors. During Busy Bees children get the opportunity to do a variety of activities, including art & craft, nature walks, games both indoor and outdoor, news time and story time. As the club is being run during school hours, all children must adhere to the school’s Code of Behaviour during Busy Bees. The bus children will be dropped to their buses in the yard and the children on the big bus will be escorted to the bus by a staff member.
