Thursday, November 23, 2023, marked a thrilling day for the students in 3rd and 4th classes. Our school welcomed William, a volunteer engineer in the STEPS Young Engineer Award, who shared the story of what motivated him to pursue a career in engineering. His journey began with receiving a Ladybird book titled "Making A Transistor Radio" as a gift during his youth, igniting a lasting interest in the field. At the age of 18, he enrolled in college to delve into the study of electronic engineering.
During his visit, we had the opportunity to showcase our own engineering projects to William, who expressed great admiration for our efforts. He generously provided constructive feedback, emphasising areas where improvement could be made. As we strive to enhance our projects further, there is still some work to be completed before submitting them for evaluation and grading.
