School Trip to Avondale

First Class had a fantastic trip to Avondale Beyond the Trees today. All of the children in the class climbed up to the top of the lookout tower which is a great accomplishment. We stopped at information posts along the way to learn about the trees and woodlands of Ireland and we also had a tasty lunch before we finished our trip by spending some time in the excellent playground there. The children behaved fantastically and were a credit to our school. It was also one the sunniest days of the year so far so we really did have a great day.
