Rocket Building for STEAM Fortnight in First!

As part of our STEAM fortnight First Class built rockets, tested them and then had a distance challenge to see which would fly furthest. The children worked with students from 4th Class when building the rockets and with children 6th Class when testing them out. They learned about trajectory and how make their rockets fly more easily by using the rocket launchers correctly. It involved construction, inistruction following and most importantly team-work. It was a great multi-class activity!
